2nd Annual 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run sponsored by Allen Thornton Career Technical Centers Engineering Program

- Location: Allen Thornton Career Technical Center in Center Star, AL
- Registration will be held in front of the school the morning of the race

- Packets may be picked up at the school from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Late Registration
- August 19, 2017
- 6:30 a.m.- Registration and Packet Pick-up begins
- 7:30 a.m.- 5K begins
- 8:40 a.m.- (approximately) 1 Mile Fun Run begins
- 9:15 a.m.- Awards Ceremony
Fees:
- Pre-registration Fee
- 5K Run/Walk- $20
- 1 Mile Fun Run- $15
- Both races- $25
- Day of the Race
- 5K Run/Walk- $25
- 1 Mile Fun Run- $20
- Both races- $30
The Course: The 5K will begin at ATCTC by running around the campus, then
down the access road, and into Plantation Springs subdivision and back to campus.
Solid Rock Race Timing will be timing the event (http://www.srcse.com/). There
will be a water station located approximately half way through the course for
the 5K.
T-shirts: Each participant who pre-registers by August 7th will receive an ATCTC Back to
School Dash t-shirt. Participants who register during late registration will
receive a shirt based on availability (certain sizes may not be available).
Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Overall and Age Groups for the following male
and female groups in the 5K:
0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older
(Age groups may be modified depending on participation.)
